Urban Decay Naked Palette

Naked Palette

Weelll.. I don’t think that I should post this one…because a lot of you have known this particular product.. Naked palette has been raving by soo many people, from makeup lovers to makeup artist.. I can’t think of any other eyeshadow palette that has been this famous among the globe.. can you? Please let me know.. :)

Naked Palette

Naked palette contains 12 shades eyeshade in neutral color

- Virgin is a cool pale beige color, and has fine shimmered in it. It’s light, but it’s such a beautiful everyday color. I use this for inner corner of my eyes on tear duct area and on my brow bone.
- Sin is a champagne color, but I can see a slight pink color in it, and also has frosty finish. I use this on inner part of my eyes of all over my eyelid just to brighten my look.
- Naked is a nude brown. It is very soft, smooth and not chalky at all. But sometimes I can’t really see this on my eyelid. It’s a beautiful transition color though.
- Sidecar is a shimmery beige color. It has a lot of shimmer in it that is really noticeable. I think it has glitter as well.
- Buck is a matte brown color. It’s a darker than Naked. It has smooth texture and really pigmented too.
- Half Baked is a golden color. It has a frost shimmery finish to it.
- Smog is a deep coppery bronze color. This is one of my favourite color. I can used this to create a wing eye look or use this all over my eyes.
- Darkhorse is a darkened deep mocha color. Also one of my favourite, I used this to deepened the wing area and create a subtle smokey eye.
- Toasted is a shimmery copper color. I think it’s a little bit pinkish.
- Hustle is a dark plummy color with shimmer.
- Creep is a dark blue black color. It has silvery shimmer in it.
- Gunmetal is a dark metallic blue color with silvery glitter in it. Beautiful for dark smokey eye look.

Well, I’m not really creative in makeup.. I learn how to apply and create a makeup look mostly from youtube.. My most used colors are virgin, sin, smog, darkhorse, halfbaked. For me, it is worth the money. The quality of this palette is amazing, pigmentation is really really good. I bought this palette when it was $50, and now it is $52.. There’s a lot of dupe out there, with identical color and a good quality product, but still… I’m very very happy with this..

Oh…but…it is a big but…I have a problem with this palette..i don’t know whether I just got a bad product or something, but after the 2nd time I took this palette to travel with me, the color smog fell off..hix..  :(

Thanks God the eyeshadow still in good condition..it’s just fell from the slot…I put double tape and put it back.. Note : I didn’t put this palette in my luggage bag.. I put it on my hand carry bag.. I’m very careful with it..so I really don’t know..

But other than that I don’t have a problem at all..

Oh and this palette comes with travel size of urban decay primer potion..i have oily eyelid so I put primer whenever I put eyeshadow or eyeliner.. it is a good travel size so you can try it before you get the full size..

I hope this review is not too boring for you..let me know what do you think.. :)

Guerlain Mythic Météorites Voyage Refill

I’ve waited for quite a while before I got this..and I was all out when I purchased this because I also got myself Guerlain Météorites Perles "Light is in the Air" which is limited edition…but I’m going to review that one in some other time.
I heard about these products through a forum called female daily, and a lot of women there talking about these two and loving these..

Guerlain Mythic Météorites Voyage Refill

Guerlain Mythic Météorites Voyage supposed to give you a blurring effect, make your skin looks flawless and glowing…

Detail from Nordstorm : Meteorites Voyage is a technological wonder, a blend of matte and pearly shades, an ingenious mixture of six correcting or light-enhancing colors to deliver the purest radiance to all complexions. Three correcting colors: a mauve that catches the light and brightens the complexion, a pink that refreshes tired complexions and a green that reduces redness. Three light-enhancing colors: a white to infuse the complexion with light, with no chalky effect, a champagne to make the skin sparkle and radiate, and a pink gold to unify olive complexions and warm up fair skin tones.

I’m pretty much hooked up by all good reviews and description of this product.I got this in refill pan because the compact one is a little too expensive for me..beside what’s important is what is inside, right?

Based on my experience using this, it does give me blurring effect, which is nice, it’s so hard to see right after I apply it but after a while it does make me look like I have a nice, smooth skin. But I do have to put on bb cream because I have a big pore to cover.

This powder doesn’t give you coverage, it’s a finishing powder and only give you “illusion” I might say.. If you have oil T-zone like I do, then you do have to apply a setting powder before this..What is also nice about this, is that no matter how much I put it on my face, my makeup looks so natural..it also give me oil control which I needed..

Guerlain Mythic Météorites Voyage Refill

Bottom line :
Pros :
- it has a blurring effect that supposed to give you a smooth looking skin.
- oil control is amazing, I don’t have to blot even once and I don’t have shiny looking face at the end of the day. I have a super oil T-zone by the way.
- doesn’t break me out, even though I have sensitive, acne prone skin.
- even I layer it with other powder or I put a lot, it looks so natural on me.

Cons :
- the price of course is really hefty.
- has a fragrance in it, but after a while I get used to it and quite like it. It’s not sweet but not chemically as well.
- well sometimes I can’t see a difference before and after I use this. I heard that it will show on photograph like photoshop skin, sometimes I do see that, sometimes I can’t. (got to learn how to apply it)

Does it worth the money?..hmm..that’s depend on how much you want to spend on makeup and how much you love makeup. If you curious about this and don’t mind spend $55 on powder then this is such a good powder.

I hope this review is helpful for you. This is part of Guerlain permanent products, refill pan $55 (about Rp.560.000) and compact $170.

This is a New Journey

Hii ladies…

As this is my first post, I would like give a little introduction…

I’m from Indonesia, and currently live in Indonesia..i’m not used to speak English soooo I apologize if there's a lot of grammar problems and mistakes…please bear with me..why did I post in English then? hmm..that’s a good question.. I think I would like to improve myself as well, and it’s a good challenge isn’t it?

For the past 2 years, I have build a lot of passion in make up..and bought quite a lot of thing…I still try to restraint myself not to buy stuff because honestly even though I love make up, I don’t use make up everyday..just on the weekend or special occasions…and most of my makeup just laying there barely touch…( devious giggle ) :

But I always want to try and get myself this and that from drugstore to high end products and just happy with almost everything..

I would fill this blog with beauty stuff reviews..Things that I have tried from makeup, to skin care..and maybe a little bit here and there about random stuff..Hope this is going to be a beautiful long journey..
